Ultra Medical Services is a diagnostic imaging centre providing X-ray and ultrasound studies to patients and referring physicians in Kingston, Jamaica. We operate within Alma Jones Medical Centre, 119 Hagley Park Road, Kingston 11.

From patients and referring doctors or clinics, we may collect:

• Name of the patient and the referring doctor or clinic.
• Contact details, including phone number and email address.
• Preferred contact method, requested service, and preferred day or time for a patient enquiry.
• The clinical reason for the referral and the study requested, along with any relevant clinical history the referring physician chooses to share.
• Images and reports produced as part of the diagnostic study.

The patient appointment and quote request form does not ask for clinical history. Clinical information is collected through the separate doctor-referral form when it is needed for the requested imaging study.

We use this information solely to:

• Schedule and perform the requested imaging study.
• Interpret the study and issue a report to the referring physician.
• Contact the patient or referring practice about the appointment or results.
• Maintain accurate medical records as required by Jamaican law and standard clinical practice.

Patient information is accessed by our radiologist and authorised Ultra Medical Services staff involved in scheduling, performing the study and issuing the report. We also use service providers that host the secure website systems and deliver the necessary enquiry and acknowledgement emails on our behalf.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Outside these necessary service providers, information may only be disclosed where required by law or with your explicit consent.

Patient records, images and reports are retained in line with applicable medical record-keeping requirements. Website appointment, quote and referral enquiries are retained while needed to coordinate and document the requested service. Information submitted through this website is transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored on access-controlled systems. Public visitors cannot read submitted enquiries; access is restricted to authorised administrators and the service providers needed to operate the submission and email systems.

Patients and referring doctors may request access to the information we hold about them, or ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or out of date. We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of the page will always reflect the most recent revision.
